At this time of economy hardships we are faced with a great dilemma on this month of December. We don’t want to –or shall I say—we don’t have the funds to give gifts that are expensive and are priced at hundreds of dollars at the same time we do not want to give cheap gifts either. To ease your anxiety I have decided to share my secrets----shhhhhhh-don’t tell my family and friends, with you.

Because we love to smell pretty I will start with perfumes. Perfumania-----this store has great seasonal sales on perfumes, and I mean really nice perfumes like “Live “from J.Lo. You can order the perfumes online or you can check the store locator and see if they have a store near you. My favorite special is buy one get one for $10----the second perfume for $10—that means if you purchase a perfume which costs $52 you get to choose the second-- which has to be of equal or less value—for $10---you will save about $42 right there. You have two gifts for $62. When choosing a perfume I would stay away from complicated musky fragrances unless you know the person well------the perfumes that work best are light fragrances , sweet, fruity and delicate—nothing too strong ,overwhelming or too floral.

Moving on---scarves---yes scarves--are really nice gifts. I don’t mean your everyday scarves, I mean nice pretty scarves made of nice soft materials, rich colors like chocolate brown, deep red so on and so forth. Where can you get them? In department stores—I would recommend Kohl’s and Sears, they have a very feminine selection of scarves which are made by apt.9. These scarves are usually $25 but they have them on sale all the time, you might catch them on sale for $15 or less.

If you think that the scarf idea seems like a too lonely a gift which will not stand on its on then you can grab a nice pocket book from these stores as well. They have amazing beautiful pocket books on sale all the time. And these bags are beautifully made, beautiful attractive colors. The bags are more expensive then the scarves but they have great sales, you might find a bag that originally cost $200 reduced to $50.
Lets get to shoes-------yes ladies, shoes. Once again lets visit Kohl’s-------some people are afraid of purchasing shoes there because they think the shoes are boring--------but you will find that’s not the case. You must not purchase shoes for someone you don’t know well; this is an intimate purchase. Kohl’s has beautiful shoes from apt9, Vera Wang, Candy, and others. They usually have a sale going on—you can find nice comfortable durable flats and sexy pumps for $25 or less---on the sales section of course. Macys has a sales rack as well. The shoes here are not as inexpensive as Kohl’s but once again you will find absolutely gorgeous selections on sale. Here you will find shoes from Nine West, Carlos Santana, and others reduced up to %75. Believe me, you can find very pretty shoes there .I have purchased shoes for $25 and less from the sales rack and they are absolutely divine .

Ok---now let’s talk makeup. So what’s the perfect makeup to give? Mineral makeup! Its safe natural, blends in, and it’s beneficial. There are plenty of mineral makeups in the market one of them being Bare Minerals, makeup stores like, Sephora, have a mineral makeup package for $43 complete with brushes. If you don’t like the idea of getting the package you can make a mineral makeup goodie bag yourself. Revlon, Cover girl, Maybelline, Physician’s Formula, have all come out with their own natural products. You can purchase blush, eye shadow, eye liner, lipstick, and mascara from these lines. Cover girl has a nice all over face dusty rose powder which goes well with most skin tones and it costs about $15. You can accompany the powder with a set of organic eye shadow from Physicians formula which costs about $10.

The sales are always going on even if they are not promoted on TV. Don’t wait until the last minute to purchase your gifts. Contrary to popular belief, to wait to the last minute to make your purchases will actually push you to spend more money since you will be overwhelmed by all the gifts you have to by and in the end you will not check different stores to make sure you are getting the best deal. If you start buying the items early then you will release anxiety and spend less money.

Once you have had applied the butter cover your hair with a plastic cap and let the butter melt and condition your hair.The amount of time you leave the conditioner depends on the condition of your hair , the dryer your hair is the longer you need to leave the product.
